Comedy night to benefit Summerland animal sanctuary

A fundraising event is planned for the end of March will raise money for a Summerland animal sanctuary.

Stand Up for Animals, presented by Bellamy Homes, will be held Friday, March 29 at DakodaÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s Comedy Lounge, 1574 Harvey Ave., Kelowna.

The event features Kelowna comedians who have performed at Just for Laughs Northwest and the Kelowna Comedy Festival.

All ticket sales money will go to StarÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s Piggly Wigglys Sanctuary in Summerland. The animal sanctuary rescues and rehabilitates abandoned pets and provides sanctuary for animals deemed not to be adoptable.
