A festival beloved by Okanagan residents returns for another year. The Fireside Festival was founded by Aaron DeSilva and began as a way to bring artists together who would otherwise not have the opportunity to perform together due to different touring schedules.
This will mark the festivalÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s ninth year. From humble beginnings at a lakeside home to now hosting 30 acts over three days in KelownaÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s North End, the event is ready to spread joy in Kelowna during one of its coldest months.
With seasonal depression at its peak in February, the vibrancy of multi-sensory performances has become a welcome way for locals to beat the winter blues. Fans can expect to see live music performances, dance, and spoken word, among other acts.
The festival runs from Feb. 2-4. If you would like to learn more about the festival, you can visit their or page.
