A singer, songwriter and hairstylist from Kelowna claimed the title of Kelowna's Top Talent after weeks of competition at Revelry.
Gracie Field captivated the crowd week after week and survived multiple rounds of eliminations to win the Top Talent competition and a $1,000 prize.
"It feels amazing to have won with an original song that I've been working on for quite some time now," said Field after her
"I am feeling so grateful for my win, it was all up to the public and the judges. I'm just very grateful for my community and my friends and family for always supporting me not just through the entire competition but always."
Her favourite memory of the night was having her little sister run over and wrap her in a big hug after winning.
"I could tell she was very proud of me," said Field.
In the days before the finals Field said she struggled with self-doubt and worried that she would not be "good enough."
She is now looking forward to recording new music and is excited about the future of her career as a musician.
"I encourage everyone to really go for what they want and never quit."
