For the second year in a row, dozens of dogs Ï㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥” and their owners Ï㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥” marched down Penticton's Lakeshore Drive in the spirit of Halloween.
One of Penticton's newest holiday traditions, the Hallo-Weenie Parade, returned Saturday morning, Oct. 26.
Organized by the Penticton Dachshund Club, wiener dogs and their owners gathered near the Loco Landing parking lot at 10:30 a.m., before walking down the iconic Lakeshore Drive.
Festivities wrapped up at Yellow Dog Brewing on Winnipeg Street, where a post-parade party commenced.
Prizes were handed out to the best family costume, best-dressed weenie, and best-dressed "wanna-be weenie."
A photo booth was also set up for the pups when they finished their walk and got to the downtown brewery.
Admission was free, however, donations were being accepted for the Summerland-based Critteraid Animal Sanctuary.
