If you香蕉视频直播檝e ever found yourself transfixed by a sweet bird song, you can appreciate the feeling inspiring a concert planned for next Friday.

Sweet Bird brings together some of the South Okanagan香蕉视频直播檚 most talented performers for an evening of bird and nature-inspired music.

Soprano Tracy Fehr, violinist Elizabeth Lupton, and pianist Dennis Nordlund make up the masterworks ensemble, performing renaissance to modern classical along with the Seraphim vocal ensemble of Tracy Fehr, Heather Allen, Jay Demetrick and Derek Beaton. The concert also features an original composition by Wynn Nordlund.

Proceeds from the event support bird conservation in the Okanagan, and the musical performance will be accompanied by complimentary wine and exhibits celebrating International Migratory Bird Day, Vaseux Lake Banding Station, Vaseux Lake Bird Blind and Important Bird Area, and the (with a live burrowing owl).

The concert takes place at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (1370 Church St.) in Penticton, at 7:30 p.m. on May 12.

Tickets are $30, $25 for seniors and youth, and are available at The Book Shop (242 Main St.), from the Penticton Arts Council at Leir House, or at the door.
