An online thrift shop has two pieces tied to Kelowna's past available for purchase.
Gemini Thrift has two vintage shirts from The Flintstones Bedrock City theme park which was located at Highway 97N and McCurdy Road from 1968 to 1998.
The first item is a youth large t-shirt with Fred Flintstone flashing a cheeky smile on a green-blue shirt. The clothing item is said to be in good condition with slight wear from age.
The second shirt shows Fred and a happy Dino on a grey t-shirt in a youth extra large.
Both shirts are said to be from 1997 just before the park closed. Each one is on sale for $85.
Gemini Thrift is based in Kelowna and boasts it is affordable clothing, that works to reduce the amount of good-quality, sustainable clothing from otherwise ending up in landfills and oceans.
Shop online or catch them on June 22 at the Summer Moon Vintage Market in Kelowna.
