The first weekend of the new Kelowna Tulip Festival was a success.

Put on by the K.L.O. Farm Market, owners Sunny and Rupi Bhangu decided to put on the local event after seeing the success of tulip festivals elsewhere in North America.

Planting for the festival took place in September. The couple explained it took about seven days to prepare the field and plant 20,000 bulbs 香蕉视频直播渂y hand with love and care香蕉视频直播�. Rupi said they have 14 varieties for festival goers to enjoy.

The Tulip Festival will be on every weekend as long as the tulips last. Rupi expects Mother香蕉视频直播檚 Day weekend will be the last opportunity to check it out.

The K.L.O. Farm Market is expected to open for the season during the May Victoria Day long weekend.
