PHOTOS: 3rd annual Witches Paddle takes over Lake Country's Wood Lake

The paddle concluded the Magical Market

More than 100 witches were scattered across the Oyama (north) end of Wood Lake for the third annual Witches Paddle on Saturday, Oct. 12.

This year's event was the conclusion to the second annual Magical Market, which took place at Oyama Community Hall.

"We know it's a long weekend, but hopefully everyone will still come out with their witch hats and bring all of their family that's in town visiting," said Sarah Thompson of the Wood Lake Water Witches ahead of the event.

The now annual event has seen its popularity raise since its inception.
