The Penticton Potters' Guild are selling their handcrafted ceramic poppies to help raise funds for the local branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
The poppies are available for a minimum donation of $10 at Dragon's Den on Front Street and Softy香蕉视频直播檚 Shoes on Main Street in Penticton.
Supplies are limited, and partial proceeds will go to support the Penticton Legion.
"We thought it would be an appropriate way to remember our war heroes," said fundraiser organizer Viv McElgunn-Lieskovsky. 香蕉视频直播淎s Canadians, we have such gratitude for our war heroes for the freedoms we have today."
Poppies may also be available at the Elemental Alchemy Pottery booth at the Christmas Craft Fair at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre Nov 8 to 10 if supplies last.
The poppies are suitable for indoor or outdoor display.
