Penticton picks Whoville float for winner of the Santa Parade

Grand prize of $1,300 will go to Penticton Safety Village

The Penticton Santa Parade float that stole everyone香蕉视频直播檚 heart and was the grand prize winner goes to the 香蕉视频直播榃hoville香蕉视频直播 float, created by the Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce and partnering businesses.

香蕉视频直播淲e were blown away by the creativity and energy that went into decorating the floats, as well as the participation by each of the businesses and organizations involved,香蕉视频直播 said Jeff Plant, the city香蕉视频直播檚 sport and event supervisor. 香蕉视频直播淐ommunity spirit was running high during the Magic on Main Street event and we look forward to seeing what surprises next year香蕉视频直播檚 event will hold.香蕉视频直播

This year香蕉视频直播檚 parade included 68 float entries and attracted thousands of spectators who lined Main Street and filled Gyro Park for the official light-up.

Honourable mentions for the best entry went to the City of Penticton香蕉视频直播檚 Grinch Linesmen and Specsavers.

The prize funds are collected from the total parade registration revenues and are donated to the winning float香蕉视频直播檚 charity of choice. The chamber and its partners are donating the $1,300 prize money to Penticton Safety Village.

The 香蕉视频直播榃hoville香蕉视频直播 float was created in partnership and collaboration with many local businesses, including Badgirl Branding, who is part of the first annual 香蕉视频直播楬oliday Whobilation香蕉视频直播 at the Penticton Safety Village on Dec. 9, 10 and 16, 17 (more details at ).

Festive lights 香蕉视频直播 including the new 170-foot light tunnel at Gyro Park 香蕉视频直播 will be turned on nightly until late January, running from dusk until midnight.
