Peak Pride a success

It was one big party at Big White this past weekend.

The first ever pride event at Big White Mountain was huge success, and is to return next year.

Peak Pride kicked off on Friday with a party at Village Centre Mall and continued throughout the weekend with five more events including a parade led by Olympian Kelsey Serwa.

The entire mountain was geared up for the festival, with rainbow flags, colourful toques and live music.

From face painting, to education on menÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s health, to beer gardens Big White was filled with activities for everyone.

Ending the weekend with brunch and Ï㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥˜T-PartyÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™, guests of Peak Pride were treated to sunny skies on the Blarney Stone patio.

Check out the video below of some of the action.
