The Métis Society of B.C. held a grand opening on Tuesday, Nov. 5 for its new Métis After School Care in Kelowna.

In the same building as the Mamawapowin Early Years Centre, 1580 Bernard Ave, people were invited for snacks and a tour of the renovated building from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The former church building was purchased by Starbright Children's Development Centre in 2018. The building was recently renovated to accommodate the daycare.
