Lake Country Firefighters supporting food bank in annual campaign

Fire trucks will be driving around the district to collect food and cash donations

The Lake Country Fire Department went door to door in the first week of December 2022 to collect cash and non-perishable food donations for the local food bank. The holidays are a time of giving and Lake Country Firefighters are gearing up for their annual food bank campaign.

Fire trucks will be driving around the district to meet the community and collect items for the Lake Country Food Bank.

Teams will be in Carr香蕉视频直播檚 Landing on Dec. 3 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and in Oyama, Winfield, and Okanagan Centre on Dec. 5 starting at 6 p.m.

Items such as non-perishable foods, personal care products, cash, and gift cards are on the list of food bank needs. Anyone who isn香蕉视频直播檛 home but still wishes to donate can leave the items on their porch with a tag specifying it香蕉视频直播檚 for the food bank.

To finish off the campaign, Station 71 in Winfield is hosting a drive through donation drop off from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
