Kelowna's Tiny Tim toy drive coming to an end after 23 years

The annual Tiny Tim Toy Drive at Coast Capri Hotel in Kelowna is coming to an end after 23 years.

After 23 years, the Tiny Tim Toy Drive at the Coast Capri Hotel has come to an end.

The hotel announced in a press release on Wednesday, Nov. 6 that the event is discontinuing but "the hotel will be supporting the community in new and different ways this year and moving forward."

Each year, the event made an impact on the community and the supported those in need through the Salvation Army香蕉视频直播檚 Christmas programs.

The Salvation Army will continue to serve those in need, especially throughout the holidays, and encourage the community to donate food, clothing, new toys and financial contributions. These can be dropped off at any of their locations in town or at S.H.A.R.E Society, All Are Family Outreach and Kelowna Community Resources and Mamas for Mamas.

"We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have participated in and supported the Tiny Tim event over the years," read a press release. "Your spirit and generosity have created a legacy of hope and compassion that will endure. We cherish the memories we have shared and the positive impact we have made together. Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Let us continue to uplift our community and support one another, especially during this holiday season."

With no Tiny Tim Toy Drive scheduled stay tuned to what will be coming next.
