Kelowna's Prospera Place celebrates a quarter-century

Prospera Place is set to celebrate 25 years.

Prospera Place is celebrating its silver birthday.

The Kelowna arena, owned and operated by the GSL Group, has been providing live music, hockey, entertainment and more for 25 years. It has hosted artists from Jay-Z to Hilary Duff and Aerosmith to Elton John, the World Junior Hockey Championships, the Memorial Cup, and is set to host the Brier in 2025.

In 2025, on top of the Brier, the arena is set to host the Canadian Country Music Awards in September and potentially another Memorial Cup in 2026.

Over the years, more than six million people have attended events at Prospera Place.
