In honour of Community Inclusion Month in the City of Kelowna, Pathways Abilities Society is hosting the annual Inclusion Chain on Oct. 4.
Starting at 10 a.m. in front of City Hall, members of the community are encouraged to join the chain.
"I think Kelowna is a very inclusive community," said Pathways executive director Charisse Daley. "I think, similar to all communities, there's always work to be done but for the most part our community is extremely welcoming."
Daley said the chain started in 2016.
After the gathering at City Hall, people are welcomed to the Pathways facility on Franklyn Road for snacks, beverages, and activities.
Those looking to attend are asked to RSVP to cpdintake@pathwayskelowna.ca.
