Melissa Curatolo of Kelowna is one of three young women named to the B.C. Ambassador team, after the annual BC Ambassador Program Pageant and awards ceremony was held this past weekend.

Curatolo, along with Karly Flannigan of Kamloops and Mierie Sabberwal of Quesnel were named as the ambassador team. a leadership and post-secondary focussed program.

Curatolo placed second for the Top Fundraising award in addition to her title of British Columbia Ambassador.

The trio will continue to fundraise and work within their communities, traveling the province and promoting education, motivation and self esteem.

The mandate of the BC Ambassador Program is to promote and assist with the costs of post-secondary education, nurture future provincial leaders, and forge links of friendship and understanding throughout BC communities.

Flannigan of Kamloops came away from the program with not only a title of British Columbia Ambassador, but was also awarded the Top Fundraising, and Top Community Table.

Sabberwal, of Quesnel, won the top award for BC Knowledge, and was the winner of the People香蕉视频直播檚 Choice Award.
