The 5th annual Parade with a Purpose is taking over downtown Kelowna on Dec. 14.

Around 40 floats will be all lit up to parade along Bernard Avenue starting at 6 p.m. with marching bands and other holiday performers.

The annual event has previously been held in Kettle Valley and continues to raise funds for the Youth Recovery House opening in 2026.

All donations will be matched up to $250,000 thanks to an anonymous donor.

Those looking to attend are being asked to car pool or use public transit as roads will be closed during the parade.

Learn more or make a donation at youthrecoveryhouse.ca.
