The 65th annual Blossom Time Fair was a success when it took a chance at changing the tradition, on May 13 at Strathcona Park. Thanks to the support of the community, $11,000 was raised for the purchase of equipment and patient care items at Kelowna General Hospital.
The long-standing traditional event took a risk this year and changed up the look and feel. Shifting to focus on young families, the event was moved to a Saturday (instead of Friday) and took place in a playful park setting.
