An AlleyCat Alliance volunteer in the Okanagan helped not only a momma cat and her kittens but also another feline in desperate need of emergency care on June 2.

The volunteer had been on the way to one of the charity香蕉视频直播檚 partner veterinarians with a mother cat and her kittens when she witnessed another cat get run over by a vehicle.

Not wanting the black feline to be hit again by a car, she pulled over and jumped out to move the animal from the road.

However, the little guy was alive and still breathing. She placed the cat in the back of the SUV, thinking the worst, that he would be dead before they reached the vet. But this strong boy had other ideas.

As the volunteer pulled up to the vet she noticed the cat was sitting up, in shock, but very much alive.

Quickly rushed into surgery, the cat now named Marcus had his skin pulled back after he was hit by the car, as well as several deep wounds.

Marcus also broke the ball of his femur which has been removed, but he will eventually develop scar tissue which will create a 香蕉视频直播渇alse joint香蕉视频直播. This is normally called a Femoral Head Ostectomy.

The feline is now recovering a the vet and once he is healthy again, will be available for adoption.

AlleyCats Alliance is looking for donations to help cover Marcus香蕉视频直播 vet and medicine costs.

If you would like to donate, you can send an E-transfer to alleycatsalliance@gmail.com (please include your email address so that they can send you a tax receipt), or donate online at www.alleycatsalliance.org, using PayPal, or by mail at 332, 113-437 Martin Street, Penticton, B.C. V2A 5L1.
