A local Realtor is taking the helm at the British Columbia Real Estate Association.
The BCREA announced on March 27 that Tim Ayres, a Realtor with Royal LePage Coast Capital in Sooke, was elected as its 2024-2025 chair at the BCREA香蕉视频直播檚 annual meeting on March 26.

Ayres plans to focus on promoting professionalism and professional development among the real estate community to ensure the BCREA continues to be a trusted source of real estate economic data in BC.

Ayres lives in Otter Point and has worked as a licensed Realtor with a focus on Sooke and Vancouver Island for more than 19 years.

Ayres realized the value of giving back to the profession early in his career, and has volunteered with the Victoria Real Estate Board since on numerous committees since 2006. He served on the board of directors from 2009 to 2015, and was elected as the board香蕉视频直播檚 youngest president ever in 2014 when he was 33.
Ayres has also served with the Canadian Real Estate Association as a committee member, and on its board of directors from 2016-2018. He has been on the BCREA board since March of 2020.
Joining Ayres as officers of the association are chair-elect Chris Shields of Macdonald Realty; past chair Darren Close of RE/MAX Generation; and BCREA chief executive officer Trevor Koot.
