The Shuswap Artisan Market has carved out a unique shop-local experience. 

The Sorrento shop offers the creations of 20 local artists and artisans from Chase to Salmon Arm. 

"The stunning variety of work and the focus on quality and detail has made this little store the go-to place for locals and visitors for nearly 10 years, explained fibre artists Kathy Kinsella, one of the Shuswap Artisan Market's contributing artists, in a media release.

"Each year the store undertakes a big shift in the displays after the holiday season and you will find that our display team has done a great job of making the store inviting as well as easy to navigate to find your favourite artisan香蕉视频直播檚 wares."

Kinsella said new work arrives at the store almost daily.  

"We have paintings and pottery, glass art, wood burning, stitched textiles, children香蕉视频直播檚 toys, unique pens, artful photography, original greeting cards, eco print scarves and journals, woven garments, home and garden d茅cor, handmade purses and bags, soy candles, jewelry, soaps and lotions, ladies and children香蕉视频直播檚 clothing, mixed media art, quilts, sculptures and more," said Kinsella. 

Between Feb. 15 and March 15 customers who make a purchase can have their name entered into a draw for one of two gift baskets filled with items donated by the artisans. The gift baskets are on display in the store until the draw date. There is a limit of one entry per day per customer.

 "We are grateful to all our customers who support our creative endeavours," said Kinsella. "All our work is handmade right here so you know you are supporting our local economy and buying Canadian art.

Located at 1204 Notch Hill Road in Sorrento, the store is open Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
