Kelowna hotel wins Renovation of the Year award

Change can be a good thing.

In the case of Kelowna's Braemar Group, which owns hotel Comfort Suites, it's a great thing as they recently won the 2024 APEX award for Renovation of the Year. 

The award is given out by Choice Hotels Canada at its prestigious annual Awards for Property Excellence (APEX).

According to a press release, the Renovation of the Year award recognizes a property that completed renovations that subsequently drove growth in guest satisfaction increases. Included in this is guest feedback that focused on increases in the overall condition of the room, as well as their likelihood to recommend the hotel in future.

Located at 2656 Highway 97 North, the renovations took place from January 2023-June 2024.

At the annual event, nine APEX awards are given out to recognize top performance, commitment to guest service, operational excellence, the most outstanding properties and specific individuals across the country. 

This award is Comfort Suite's sixth APEX award.
